Albesa is a Community Organizer originally from Kosovo. She has since moved to Athens, Greece, in pursuit of education. Upon completing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Hellenic American University, she returned to Pristina, Kosovo to work with youth across the country and her native town, Gjilan. A year of community development in Kosove led her to a new studying adventure in Winnipeg, Canada, this time studying Peacebuilding and Collaborative Development.
She is currently an organizer for a community center in Toronto, Ontario, and is active with various youth-based organizations.
As an organizer and traveler, Albesa seeks opportunities to connect people and work on themes of youth empowerment, positive peace, and community development.
In her free time, she likes to write and attend her local book club in Toronto and comedy clubs. She is a firm believer that all people can thrive – if they get the support they need in their walks of life.
